About Squarebox

We built the WhatsApp infrastructure so you don't have to

Squarebox is WhatsApp Business messaging infrastructure for cruise agencies, travel companies and other businesses that talk to customers all day. AI replies, a shared inbox, marketing and utility messages, booking flows, and the engineering underneath that usually takes a year to get right.

Why we exist

Businesses rarely lose customers on price. They lose them on silence.

Every unanswered message is a booking made with whoever replied first.

A family in Dubai messages four agencies on a Thursday evening about a Christmas cruise. Two reply the next morning. One replies on Saturday. The fourth replied in under a minute with a price, a deck plan and an offer to hold the cabin, and that is the one they booked with. Nobody lost that booking on price. They lost it on speed.

Fixing that properly is not one integration. It is Meta Business verification, templates approved in the right category and in several languages, delivery queues that survive a Wave season campaign, retries that don't double-send, webhooks, rate limits, an AI that knows when to stop talking, and monitoring so you hear about a problem before your customers do. It takes a good engineering team many months to build. Most agencies don't have the team, or any reason to spend a year on plumbing.

So we built it, and we run it for you. We are the infrastructure underneath your WhatsApp: you pay for the messages you send and for the platform that sends them, and your team gets to spend its time on the conversations that actually need a person.

What we believe

Five positions that decide how we build and sell

These are not values on a wall. Each one costs us something, which is how you can tell we mean them.

Price what's actually used

WhatsApp costs differ by country and by message type. Charging per message plus infrastructure is the only honest way to reflect that, and it means a small agency doesn't pay for a large one's volume.

Tell people when they don't need us yet

If you get thirty messages a week and one person answers them all well, you don't need infrastructure. We say that in the first meeting. Customers who sign up too early leave unhappy, and they tell people why.

Your customers stay yours

Your contacts, conversations and templates belong to you. You can export them, and your number stays yours. We'd rather be worth renewing than hard to leave.

Infrastructure isn't an upsell

Queues, retries, webhook recovery and rate-limit handling are part of every setup. Charging extra for the parts that stop messages going missing would be charging extra for the product working.

Say the specific thing

No invented percentages, no borrowed case studies, no logos we have no right to show. We work from your enquiry volume and your markets, and tell you plainly what it would cost and what would change.

How we work with you

We build it with you, then your team runs it

Nobody gets an empty dashboard and a documentation link. This is what actually happens.

1

We start with your conversations, not our feature list

The first meeting is about what your customers ask, how often, in which languages, and where your team loses time. The setup follows from that, so you don't pay for things nobody uses.

2

We do the technical part

Meta verification, number setup or migration, templates in every language you need, and integrations with your CRM and booking tools. You don't need a developer or a week reading Meta's documentation.

3

Your team runs the day-to-day

Your agents work from the shared inbox, update fares and answers, and send campaigns. Handovers, reminders and follow-ups run on their own.

4

We stay close

You talk to a person on WhatsApp and email, not a ticket queue. The people answering build the platform, which is why the answers tend to be useful.
